WELCOME

Welcome to Plantation at Magnolia River, a quiet, upscale community made up of a cross section of home owners from retirees to young families. We are a part of the City of Foley Alabama, located three and one half miles west of Alabama Highway 59 on U.S. Highway 98 directly south of where Baldwin County Highway 55 intersects U.S. 98. Our neighborhood consists of 171 large lots with beautiful landscaping and brick homes.  We have wide streets and sidewalks; making it a safe place for walking and bicycling.
We are in a perfect location with Mobile to the west and Pensacola to the east for metropolitan and local shopping. If you love the water or local beach activities, we have the most beautiful well maintained beaches on the Gulf Coast and only 30 minutes away.
In addition to a great location, the City of Foley services are exceptional, courteous, and helpful in solving problems.

Plantation Going Green

The Plantation at Magolia River is doing its part to become a more eco freindly community. The homeowners recently approved and installed replacement of the landscape lighting which highlights the two entrances to the subdivision and uplighting of tree's along HWY 98. The Association teamed with Kichler Lighting of Cleveland, Ohio and installed 20 new LED (Light Ommitting Diode) fixtures which use only 13 watts of energy consumption but produce the light output of a 35watt halogen source. Not only is the Association saving money on energy costs but the money saved on lamp replacement of the previous system will help recoup the cost of the new lighting quicker. The final and most critical aspect is maintanence, the new LED landscape fixtures are rated for a 50,000 average rated and will last an average of 16 years (based on 8 hours a day usage) and produce NO heat and are cool to the touch at all times..
